Black walnut. Purple heart. Curly maple. Different color. Different weight. Different energy. Different soul. Laminated together into one striped blank — and turned on the lathe into a slimline pen that carries all three of them at once. The curly maple is clean and warm. Exotic. Something that feels meant for the earth. It glows against the darker woods beside it. The black walnut is rich and deep. Beautiful grain. Easy to love. That contrast between the walnut and the maple — light and dark side by side — is something I have always been drawn to. And the purple heart. Dense. Heavy. Electric. That deep violet stripe that demands to be seen. It changes everything around it just by being there. Together they make something none of them could be alone. This pen was turned on the lathe, sanded from 80 grit through to 400, and finished with Renaissance polish until it feels like silk in your hand. The slimline design makes it light and balanced — the kind of pen that writes beautifully and looks even better sitting on your desk. This pen is one of a kind. The stripe pattern, the way the grain runs, the exact blend of colors — it will never look exactly like this again.
