My unique lamps and nightlights are made with combinations of recycled glass, fusible glass, and stained glass. I either rock tumble and/or melt the glass in my kiln. Sometimes, I use both techniques for really unique elements. Next, I came up with an original method of mostly copper or floral wire to wrap each piece of glass then wrap the shade like it was a fabric. This freeform method allows me to create very individual looking lamps. I make the framework of the shade as well as upcycle the lampshade and base to light up the world, to light up the world one lamp at a time. I also make nightlights made from fused or recycled glass for when I want to add just a dash of color.
